Women in Maize, Wombs in Glyphosate

Two women enter the maize plantation. Their bodies are almost completely covered, protected. Right there, they try to breathe.

Maybe we could have gone naked into the dry cornfield and fallen asleep, but no. Maybe we could have dreamt in corn and woken up among the bugs dreaming of the fall. Maybe we could have dreamt in corn and woken up among the bugs dreaming at sunset, but no. Now the mosquitoes are different, the mosquitoes are different, the mosquitoes are different. Now the mosquitoes are different, the light bugs are gone and our uterus-bodies walk, get lost and disappear. The fruit corn dreams itself, it could also have been life.
